Job summary

Alchemy in New York is seeking a product leader to own a 0→1 surface—from the first customer conversation to GA and a self‑serve growth engine. This is a builder’s seat. You’ll define the wedge, write the spec, sit with design and engineering daily, engage with developers and CTOs, and carry the number that proves it worked.

You’ll shape the roadmap with latitude to define problems as well as solutions, working in ambiguity while driving speed and quality to revenue.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product, with meaningful time on a developer platform, API, or infrastructure product.
• Demonstrated product-led growth experience: self-serve funnels, activation/conversion metrics, pricing and packaging, usage-based monetization.
• Founder mentality: started something, a company, a business line, or a product nobody asked you to build.
• Bias to action: rapid customer validation, clear evidence of demand, then committed build.
• Customer obsessed and commercially fluent: comfortable in sales, design reviews, and incidents in a single day.
• Thrives in ambiguity: you create structure rather than wait for it.
• Technical enough to read an API spec, write a curl, prototype with AI coder, hold your own with engineers.
• Crypto and web3 experience is a plus; curiosity required.

Responsibilities

• Go 0→1: turn ambiguous opportunities into shipped product with real usage and revenue.
• Sell, build, and deliver: run discovery and sales calls, write the pitch, then ship what you promised.
• Be the voice of the developer: engage in support channels and production incidents.
• Set the bar on latency, reliability, and DX, balancing speed and quality.
• Make the call: decide with incomplete information, document reasoning, and iterate with data.
