Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a Senior Product Manager to shape AI-powered payments and commerce. You will collaborate with Engineering, Fraud, Legal, and External partners to translate emerging AI tech into practical product capabilities, balancing customer needs with regulatory requirements.

You will drive requirements, roadmaps, and data-sharing strategies while ensuring secure, seamless agentic transactions across channels.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, or a similar product leadership role.
Experience with issuer payments, including digital payments, payment processing, fraud prevention, and disputes
Strong understanding of technology and product development processes, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience partnering closely with Engineering teams to define technical solutions, product requirements, specifications, and roadmaps
Strong product judgment with the ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements
Ability to navigate complex, highly matrixed organizations and build alignment across multiple stakeholder groups
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand how complex systems interact
Ability to balance long-term product strategy with near-term execution and tactical details
Excellent written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills
Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable operating in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments
Strong customer empathy and a passion for building exceptional digital products and experiences

Responsibilities

Partner closely with Engineering and Solutions Architecture teams to evaluate emerging technologies and determine how they can enable AI agent-facilitated payments
Define product requirements, technical specifications, and implementation strategies for Agentic Commerce capabilities
Develop product strategies that balance customer needs, internal requirements, partner capabilities, technical feasibility, and regulatory considerations
Partner with Fraud and Servicing teams to define approaches for fraud prevention, disputes management, and customer support related to agentic transactions
Work closely with Network and Product teams to help define and champion standards and protocols for agentic payments
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure new payment experiences adhere to applicable regulations and data governance requirements
Define requirements for data sharing and integrations with merchants, payment service providers, and AI/LLM partners
Collaborate with UX Research, Design, Web, and Mobile teams to develop intuitive dashboards and customer-facing experiences
Work with Business Development and external partners to evaluate, influence, and operationalize integration requirements
Partner with Product Enablement teams to support go-to-market strategies and successful product launches
Monitor emerging industry trends, competitive developments, and new technologies to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions
Translate market developments and customer insights into actionable product opportunities
Drive alignment across highly cross-functional teams and maintain momentum through complex product development initiatives
Continuously balance near-term execution with the long-term vision for AI-powered commerce and payments
