Job summary

Versant seeks a Senior Product Manager for its AI-powered equity research platform at StockStory. You will own core stock research experiences, work closely with engineering, design, and equity research teams, and shape products that help retail investors discover ideas, conduct research, and build conviction.

You will lead discovery, define requirements, and drive product delivery while maintaining trust and quality in AI-driven financial insights for a broad retail audience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, including meaningful experience building B2C consumer-facing products serving retail or individual customers.
• Experience owning products used by self-directed retail investors, ideally across stock discovery, screeners, equity research, market data, or watchlists.
• Strong public-equities fluency. Understanding of financial statements, earnings, valuation, and investment theses.
• Proven ability to take consumer product features from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Experience building high-engagement consumer or subscription products with activation/retention/monetization focus.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve core stock research and discovery experiences on StockStory’s AI-powered investing platform.
• Develop a deep understanding of users through interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analysis.
• Translate problems into clear product opportunities, requirements, roadmaps, and execution plans.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, and Equity Research to ship AI+financial data experiences.
• Define AI product experience including how AI-generated research communicates reasoning, sources, and risk.
