Job summary

AV is seeking a Product Line Director (PLD) for the AV EW Communications Technology group in Huntsville, AL. The PLD owns the product line and leads programs from concept through production, fielding, and sustainment, partnering with AV EW leadership and the chief engineering team to drive the technical roadmap and disciplined execution.

The role oversees program performance, cost, schedule, risk, and customer satisfaction, interfacing with customers and AV EW leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Business, or related field.
10+ years in defense programs, product line management, or program management.
Experience leading directed energy or advanced defense systems.
Strong knowledge of EACs, program financials and execution metrics.
Experience with U.S. Army, NNSA, USAF or other government customers.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams delivering complex technology.
Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

End-to-end product line ownership across lifecycle stages.
Lead IPTs with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, contracts, and finance.
Develop and manage program budgets, EACs, forecasts, and margins.
Engage with DoD customers and translate CONOPS into executable plans.
Drive transition from development to production and sustainment.
