Job summary

Mueller Water Products, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer for our Kimball, TN facility. You will configure components for butterfly, ball, knife gate, and water control products, delivering drawings and BOMs to meet customer requirements.

You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and sales to enable design changes and cost improvements. The role requires strong CAD/ERP experience, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or related roles.
Experience with valve-related products and industrial systems is a plus.
Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD and JD Edwards ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Provide SolidWorks, or Creo & AutoCAD working drawings according to requirements.
Generate Bill of Materials and Process Sheets for assigned product lines.
Provide shop floor engineering support for assigned product lines.
Contribute to engineering projects and improvements to metrics.
Coordinate activities with approval agencies for new or modified products.
