Job summary

Chewy is seeking an Associate Director of Product, Marketing Technology, to lead the vision and execution of systems, data, and AI infrastructure powering the marketing engine.

The role, based in Boston, MA or Seattle, WA, requires 8+ years in product management or related tech domains and a strong foundation in marketing tech ecosystems. You will partner across engineering, data, and business teams to drive performance and platform health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in product management, marketing technology, or data systems.
• Proven success defining and scaling technical products or platforms.
• Strong understanding of marketing technology ecosystems, data architecture, and platform interoperability.
• Ability to evaluate tradeoffs across systems with engineering and data teams.
• Experience using insights to identify pain points and translate them into strategy.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills to align teams through ambiguity.
• Strategic mindset connecting tech investments to business growth.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for marketing technology capabilities.
• Translate complex problems into scalable product requirements and execution plans.
• Partner with engineering, data science, and marketing stakeholders to balance architecture and speed.
• Own roadmap prioritization for a major product area with tradeoffs and delivery constraints.
• Guide teams through ambiguous spaces by creating structure, success metrics, and execution plans.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or extend marketing tech capabilities for faster delivery.
• Define and track metrics on business performance, adoption, reliability, and data quality.
• Influence senior stakeholders with data-driven communication on priorities and risks.
• Serve as SME for marketing technology strategy and platform decisions.
