Job summary

Baker Hughes Company seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to lead the technical components of New Product Development and New Technology Development from concept to validation and industrialization.

You will define critical-to-quality requirements, write technical specs, perform CFD/FEA, and coordinate cross-functional teams while mentoring engineers and advancing valve design expertise across regions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years core design engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design concepts and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with FEA/CFD and SolidWorks/ANSYS.

Responsibilities

• Clarify project input and ensure alignment on product needs across stakeholders.
• Organize technical activities and validate schedules per specifications.
• Write the Product Technical Specification translating customer needs into requirements.
• Perform product design and modelling; conduct CFD/FEA to validate the design.
• Coordinate design reviews with other departments and manage subcontracted engineering.
