Job summary

Dover Corporation seeks a New Product Development (NPD) Engineer in Houston to design, execute, and validate components for rotating and reciprocating machinery, bridging theory with real-world performance using advanced data acquisition tools.

You will lead test rigs for sealing systems, valves and bearings; develop LabVIEW architectures for real-time data collection; and analyze data to drive iterative design improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• 3+ years in an NPD, R&D, or test lab environment.
• Experience with high-presssure/high-rotational-speed equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of technology and new product development projects from ideation to launch.
• Design and build test rigs for sealing systems, valves, and bearing assemblies.
• Develop rigorous test protocols for real-world compressor/turbomachinery environments.
• Integrate sensors and develop LabVIEW architectures for real-time data collection and control.
• Analyze test data and perform root-cause analysis to drive design improvements.
