Job summary

Midland Manufacturing seeks an experienced Product Design Engineer - Senior Level to lead NPD for valve and fitting products used in rail tank cars. You will own design control, coordinate with QA, manufacturing, and marketing, and mentor junior engineers while pushing for manufacturability and quality.

The role requires 5+ years in NPD of fluidic systems, strong CAD ( Creo ), and broad experience in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in NPD of fluidic systems and related components.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and with railcar/tank car applications is highly favorable.
• Strong design for manufacturability and quality focus in regulated settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPD projects from concept to revenue with end-to-end ownership.
• Coordinate design control and stage-gate reviews within the Midland quality system.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive cross-functional collaboration across product management, QA, and manufacturing.
