Job summary

Eaton Corporation's ES AMER ARS division seeks a Senior Product Engineer - ATS for the Arden, NC facility, onsite. You will design and develop complex drawings and BOMs for UL 1008 compliant equipment, coordinate with customers and field sales, and interface with manufacturing, supply chain, OPEX and quality.

You will lead COE/ETO projects, provide direction to engineers and designers, participate in cost-out activities, and contribute to design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Two years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or ETO environment.
• Ability to design and develop complex drawings and BOMs per applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a variety of complex drawings and bills-of-material for UL 1008 compliant equipment.
• Consult with plant and field sales engineers on new equipment applications.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.
• Lead COE/ETO projects and provide direction to engineers and designers.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality and other departments to resolve issues.
• Participate in cost-out activities and design-related process improvements.
