Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - ATS for an onsite position in Asheville (Arden), NC. The role provides broad engineering support to manufacturing operations and maintenance, with responsibility for executing complex projects within the Operational Excellence department.

The expected annual salary range is $71,000–$105,000. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and market considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• No relocation assistance; candidates within 50 miles of Asheville NC only.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication and assembly processes, tooling and fixturing design and applications.
• Develop and implement improvements to manufacturing procedures and processes; improve layout and material handling.
• Train factory operators in use of equipment, tooling and procedures.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee changes and upgrades to the manufacturing facility.
• Lead events to achieve factory cost-out targets; drive labor productivity improvements.
• Specify, design, quote, install, debug, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
