Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group is seeking Senior and Staff Product Engineers to join its Technology team. You will design, build, and modernize our tech stack—from client-facing digital experiences to an internal operating system—across our brand portfolio.

You’ll work on AI-native development, architect scalable solutions, and collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver impactful outcomes. We value hands-on engineers who can own features end-to-end, integrate systems like Salesforce

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience engineering production software (Senior) or 9+ years with cross-system architecture ownership (Staff).
• Strong relational data, including SQL, schema design, transactions, migrations; comfortable with data warehouses and pipelines.
• Quality and security-minded development: testing, accessibility, input validation, authentication/authorization, security risks.
• Use of AI agents for real multi-step work with clear specs and context; verify outputs against real systems.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end features across front end, back end, APIs, and data layer from ideation to production.
• Design how systems fit together across brands, apps, and enterprise tools; build integrations with Salesforce/NetSuite.
• Break ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans and reviewable work units.
• Work with AI-native development across research, prototyping, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to architecture, technology choices, and scalable development patterns.
• Introduce and refine AI development practices, tools, and workflows; mentor teammates.
