Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group is hiring Senior and Staff Product Engineers to design, build, and modernize our tech stack across brands, apps, and enterprise tools. This remote role supports the US East Coast with an AI-driven, security-conscious approach.

You will own end-to-end features, shape architecture, and mentor teammates while collaborating with product, design, and engineering to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering production software for Senior level.
• Relational data with SQL, transactions, migrations; modern data platforms.
• Quality and security-focused development including testing and input validation.
• Use of AI agents for real multi-step work with clear specs and context.
• Product-minded thinking with problem-first approach and trade-offs.
• Ownership of architecture across multiple systems.
• Mentoring, code review, pairing and onboarding teammates.
• Familiarity with business systems like Salesforce/NetSuite; cloud work.

Responsibilities

• Own features across front end, back end, APIs, business logic, and data layer from ideation to production.
• Design how systems fit together across brands, apps and enterprise tools with secure data handling.
• Turn ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans and units of work.
• Work AI-native, using AI agents and validating their outputs against the real system.
• Contribute to architecture, technology choices and scalable development patterns.
• Introduce and refine AI development practices and tooling; mentor teammates.
• Leave the codebase better: tests, monitoring, docs and architecture patterns.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering; participate in code reviews & pairing.
