Job summary

Raydar is seeking a Senior Product Engineer in San Francisco to build and extend backend services and interfaces, focusing on automation, matching and scale. You will own platform architecture and help set the technical direction with senior leadership.

You will apply AI agents to product workflows, lead core systems, and drive performance and reliability at scale. Collaboration with the CTO and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong backend skills in Python or TypeScript/Node.js with service interfaces, DB schemas and async messaging.
• Hands-on builder who turns ambiguous problems into working prototypes.
• Experience building zero-to-one AI products at fast-growing companies with strong teams.
• Ownership of product features at high-growth companies with measurable results.
• A clear reason for working in staffing and operations-heavy settings.

Responsibilities

• Apply AI agents across the product to automate operational steps.
• Architect and lead core systems, including real-time matching and automated vetting pipelines.
• Own platform architecture with a forward-looking view of needs a year or two ahead.
• Drive backend performance, reliability and scalability.
• Partner with the CTO on key architectural decisions for the platform.
