Job summary

OpenGov Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to drive growth of OG Assist, our AI-native government platform.

You will own outcomes end to end—from discovery with customers to architecture and shipping production code—leading by example in both product thinking and code quality. You will operate in a fast-paced, AI-native environment, owning architecture, production code, and release content while collaborating with customers, UX, and engineering teams to deliver tangible government-first

Qualifications

• 6–9 years shipping production SaaS code.
• Owns features end to end from design to deployment.
• Experience with AI/LLMs in production is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with design systems and UX flows.

Responsibilities

• Refine product vision for OG Assist and roadmap.
• Implement features end to end and review code.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders.
• Define UX flows within the design system and implement them.
• Set technical direction and build‑vs‑buy decisions.
• Track adoption and business outcomes.
