Job summary

Momentive Technologies is seeking a Senior Product Development Manager for Quartz Technology to lead the development of advanced quartz materials and processes and to drive scale-up to production in collaboration with global manufacturing teams.

You will oversee feasibility, prototyping, IP work, and process improvements using Six Sigma and advanced modeling, while guiding partnerships with suppliers and customers. Travel ~10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, or related field
• 12+ years hands-on experience with leadership in engineering
• Experience leading projects >$1MM from development to high-volume manufacturing
• Collaborates with manufacturing, suppliers and customers to achieve objectives
• Willingness to travel internationally ~10%

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional team to develop and scale-up quartz products and processes
• Manage feasibility testing, prototyping, gauge development, pilot testing, IP identification, cost analysis and scale-up
• Apply Six Sigma and statistical tools for process improvement and DOE
• Generate intellectual property and internal reports
• Plan, budget, and manage resources with risk control
