Job summary

Expedia Group’s Vrbo design team seeks a Senior Product Designer to shape the Trips experience across web and mobile. You will translate Vrbo’s refreshed brand into distinctive product experiences and partner with product, engineering, content, and research to drive growth and delight travelers.

You’ll prototype with AI tools, mentor others, and uphold accessibility and craft across the team while delivering end-to-end design from framing opportunities to launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional product/design experience with a demonstrated portfolio.
• Strong interaction and visual design expertise with prototyping and research skills.
• Ability to explain design rationale to engineers and senior leaders.
• Experience working within a design system and contributing to its evolution.
• Portfolio shows shipped digital products with clear problem-solution stories.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design of the Vrbo Trips experience from framing to launch.
• Design for the whole trip (planning to post-stay) with user-centric focus.
• Translate brand into distinctive, accessible product experiences for web and app.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, content, and research; use prototypes and analytics.
• Prototype with AI tools to explore AI-enabled group decision experiences.
• Mentor teammates and advocate for accessibility and craft.
