Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle is seeking a Senior Product Designer for the Vrbo design team. You’ll shape the end-to-end Trips experience, from framing opportunities to launch and iteration, ensuring a cohesive traveler journey across planning, stay, and post-stay.

You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, content, and research to translate the brand into distinctive, accessible experiences on web and app, while mentoring teammates and evolving the design system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in product design, user experience design, interaction design, or related discipline.
• Portfolio shows shipped digital products with strong interaction and visual design and explains the problems, trade-offs and impact.
• Deep expertise in interaction or visual design, plus skills in prototyping, research, facilitation, IA, or content design.
• Experience designing complex experiences with product and engineering partners and ability to explain design rationale to varied audiences.
• Fluent in modern design and prototyping tools; able to work within and evolve an established design system.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design of the Vrbo Trips experience from framing to launch and iteration.
• Design for the whole trip (planning, pre-arrival, in-stay, post-stay) so travelers feel informed and in control.
• Translate Vrbo’s brand into distinctive, accessible product experiences across web and app.
• Shape strategy through storytelling with product, engineering, content, and research; use prototypes, analytics and experiments.
• Prototype with AI tools and model outputs to explore AI-enabled experiences for groups.
• Raise the bar on craft through critiques, design reviews, and mentoring; champion accessibility and inclusion.
