Job summary

Cssmerge is seeking a Product Designer for Platform in Los Angeles to define the experience architecture and cross-product systems that power Otter. You will shape platform-level patterns, lead onboarding and expansion workflows, and partner with Product and Engineering to align UX with system models and technical realities.

You will collaborate with Design System leaders and explore AI-enabled approaches to raise design quality, while maintaining strong judgment about when to apply new

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience or equivalent seniority, with leadership of complex workflows.
• Ability to define scalable experience models and patterns across products and teams.
• Strong judgment balancing usability, flexibility, and technical constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define platform-level experience architecture across navigation, hierarchy and permissions.
• Lead cross-product workflows including onboarding, activation, setup, upsell and expansion.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align UX with system models and constraints.
• Work with the Design System team to translate patterns into reusable UI foundations.
• Prototype with new technologies, improving speed and quality of design outcomes.
