Job summary

Bidbus is seeking a Senior Product Designer — Consumer Growth in Irvine, CA to shape the marketplace experience for car sellers and buyers. You’ll translate complex marketplace mechanics into simple, engaging interfaces that foster trust and participation.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing to drive onboarding, conversion, and retention initiatives, using behavioral insights and experiments to inform design decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design, with growth/consumer focus.
• Experience designing web and mobile apps at scale with measurable impact.
• Strong understanding of onboarding, conversion, and growth mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize consumer onboarding flows to create seamless first-time experiences.
• Drive funnel and conversion optimization through iterative design and testing.
• Ideate and implement referral and viral growth features to accelerate user acquisition.
• Create reactivation and lifecycle experiences to improve retention and engagement.
• Lead growth experiments and design new features to unlock marketplace growth.
• Apply expertise in consumer UX to ensure intuitive interfaces across devices.
• Craft mobile-first product experiences that delight users on every device.
• Elevate consumer brand and visual quality across all touchpoints.
• Contribute to and evolve Bidbus’s design system for scalability and consistency.
