Job summary

Comfy seeks a senior product designer to own the developer platform end-to-end, including the console, onboarding, the docs experience, and usage and billing. You will be the design DRI for the developer surface, work with the pillar PM and platform engineers, and shape the API-facing experience.

This is a senior IC role with full ownership, requiring you to ship UI from problem to production. You will collaborate with developers, read how they use the API, and define the design direction for

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in developer-facing products.
• Ability to design for APIs, SDKs and developer consoles.
• Strong information architecture and interaction design.
• Experience shipping end-to-end platform surfaces.
• Ability to read API usage patterns from developers.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of the developer console: environments, API keys, Router, usage, spend, rate limits and workspace settings.
• Turn new models, endpoints and capabilities into clear interfaces as the platform ships.
• Design the hard states: failed deploys, empty credit balances, rate-limit errors and missing permissions.
• Shape the docs and quickstart experience with the docs PM.
• Talk to the developers who build on Comfy, and read how they use the API, before you decide what to build.
• Build what you design. Write the frontend code for your features and submit the PRs.
• Set the design bar and direction for the Developer Platform pillar.
