Job summary

Comfy in San Francisco is seeking a senior product designer to own the Developer Platform end to end. You will be the design DRI for the developer console, onboarding, docs experience, usage and billing, collaborating closely with the pillar PM and platform engineers.

You must know developers, having built software or worked on developer products. You will shape interfaces for API keys, Router, and API surface that moves fast, and you will design hard states and error messaging as a core part of

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience, with developer-facing products you shipped
• Strong information architecture skills, turning tangled objects into clear structures
• Ability to own a surface end to end, from problem to shipped UI
• Experience collaborating with PMs and engineers on platform initiatives

Responsibilities

• Own the design of the developer console: environments, API keys, Router, usage, spend, rate limits and workspace settings
• Turn new models, endpoints and capabilities into clear interfaces as the platform ships
• Design hard states: failed deploys, empty credit balances, rate-limit errors and missing permissions
• Shape the docs and quickstart experience with the docs PM to unify reference and console
• Talk to developers who build on Comfy and read API usage before deciding what to build
• Build what you design by writing frontend code for your features and submitting PRs
• Set the design bar and direction for the Developer Platform pillar
