Job summary

Alchemy is seeking a Product Designer to join a remote, front-end–heavy role focused on building and evolving a scalable UI system. You will own core components, patterns, and implementation quality while partnering with product designers and engineers to unblock teams and elevate UI craft.

The position emphasizes hands-on building, fast iterations, and a bias for reusable design systems that scale across products in an AI-enabled Web3 context.

Qualifications

• Proficient in React + TypeScript with strong front-end fundamentals.
• Experience shipping design systems and tokens for scale.
• Ability to prototype quickly without sacrificing craft.

Responsibilities

• Build production-quality prototypes or production front-end code to validate UX directions quickly.
• Own and evolve design system components, patterns, and interaction primitives.
• Translate design intent into high-quality React/TypeScript UI with attention to hierarchy and motion.
• Drive system scalability and ship improvements for faster product development.
• Collaborate with product designers and engineers to streamline handoffs and improve feasibility.
• Improve UI-building practices across teams through docs, examples, and workflows.
• Contribute to design-system adoption, accessibility, and tooling like Storybook.
• Support AI-native product exploration with reusable UI foundations.
