Job summary

HighLevel is seeking a Lead Product Designer to elevate product experiences with craft, vision and systems thinking across one or more pillars. You will partner with product, eng and design leadership, mentor other designers and help shape long-term strategy while maintaining an extraordinarily high bar for design craft.

You will work in a 100% remote environment with flexible hours to coordinate with US- and India-based colleagues, and you will apply AI-powered tools for exploration,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience with leadership or direction
• Strong portfolio demonstrating systematic thinking, customer empathy and impact
• Experience leading data-informed product design across the full lifecycle (research, IA, interaction, visual, prototyping)
• Experience designing for AI-driven interfaces and collaboration with ML/data teams
• Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility, reusable patterns and scalable decisions
• Strong cross-functional leadership with PMs, engineers and stakeholders
• Excellent communication, critique facilitation and workshops
• Commitment to raising design quality across teams and time zones

Responsibilities

• Lead design strategy and execution for one or more product pillars from discovery through delivery
• Translate customer needs, business goals, product strategy and constraints into clear direction and roadmaps
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to define vision and align opportunities
• Influence leadership decisions with customer empathy, data, and strong design rationale
• Drive design quality reviews and set usability, accessibility, and visual standards
• Mentor designers, improve critique and share patterns across teams
• Define and socialize metrics for design quality and impact (usability, adoption, satisfaction)
• Lead complex discovery and design efforts through ambiguity and synthesis
