Roblox is seeking a Senior Product Designer for Consumer App in San Mateo, CA to shape how users navigate the Roblox platform across mobile, desktop, console and XR.

You will design core UI, information architecture, and interaction models; translate 2D interfaces into 3D experiences and guide the app’s architecture across surfaces.

Collaborate with PMs, engineers, data science and research, prototype with AI tools, and influence teams to deliver cohesive experiences.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in product design with shipped work on navigation, information architecture or interaction models at platform scale.
• Strong craft across visual and interaction design; fluency in Figma (auto layout, variables, components).
• A track record of UX strategy: framing ambiguous problems, setting direction, and delivering with cross-functional partners.
• Cross-platform experience: design for mobile, desktop, console, and XR environments.
• Advanced prototyping skills (Figma, Origami, ProtoPie or code) including hands-on use of AI tools to prototype faster.
• Influence without authority across several teams and the judgment to say no with a better alternative.
• Exceptional communication: storytelling, moving stakeholders to action, and documenting systems with precision.

Responsabilidades

• Shape the app's structure across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop, console, XR).
• Design input models for touch, mouse/keyboard, gamepad and headset from the start.
• Define the system UI architecture and interaction patterns for the app and in game.
• Design shared platform features used across surfaces.
• Frame UX strategy with PM, engineering, data science and research; use A/B tests to decide next steps.
• Influence partner teams and present reasoning to leadership with clarity.
• Prototype in context using AI-assisted tools on real devices and inputs.
