Job summary

Roblox is hiring a Senior Product Designer for Consumer App in San Mateo, CA. You will shape navigation, information architecture, and interaction models across mobile, desktop, console and XR, crafting a cohesive UI and shared capabilities used throughout the Roblox app and in-game experiences.

You will drive UX strategy with PMs, engineers, data science and research, and prototype using AI tools to accelerate testing on real devices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product design with shipped work at platform scale.
• Strong craft across visual and interaction design, fluent in Figma.
• Track record of UX strategy: framing ambiguous problems and shipping with partners.
• Cross-platform experience: mobile, desktop, console, and XR.
• Advanced prototyping skills (Figma, Origami, ProtoPie or code) including AI tools.
• Influence without authority across teams; know when to say no with a better alternative.
• Exceptional communication: tell a compelling story and document systems precisely.

Responsibilities

• Shape the app’s structure: contribute to core architecture, navigation and IA across surfaces.
• Design for multiple inputs: touch, mouse/keyboard, gamepad and headset from start.
• Define system UI: set UI architecture and interaction patterns across app and games.
• Design core platform features: reusable capabilities across surfaces.
• Drive UX strategy: frame problems and use research to decide next steps.
• Influence across teams: align partner teams and present reasoning to leadership.
• Prototype in context: use AI-assisted tools to test on real devices and inputs.
