Job summary

Toast is seeking a Senior Product Designer for Support Experiences to shape how restaurants receive help across chat, voice, and human handoffs. You’ll design cohesive, system-wide interaction language spanning web, mobile, IVR, and agent tools to streamline support for operators and agents.

You’ll partner with product, engineering, and customer service leaders, conduct research, test usability, and push a high standard of visual design and prototyping across surfaces.

Qualifications

• Shipped conversational interfaces (chat, messaging, or voice) and demonstrated trust.
• Experience designing across web, mobile, and voice surfaces with cohesive handoffs.
• Ability to adapt external tools to fit Toast design language.
• Experience designing voice interactions and IVR prompts with escalation logic.
• Strong visual design skills with prototyping and component specs.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and advocate for design decisions.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design.
