Nitrogen is seeking an exceptional product designer to shape AI-native financial advisor tools. You will own visual design, contribute to AI workflows, and ship with PM and engineering in six-week cycles.

You’ll work with Figma, design systems, and AI prototyping, and help turn complex data into clear visuals for advisors. This fully remote US-based role values ownership, curiosity, and a track record of shipping.

Responsibilities

• Shape new features with PM and engineering lead in six-week cycles.
• Design how Nucleus takes action for advisors and communicates progress.
• Turn complex topics into visuals that simplify risk and coverage data.
• Build reusable design components and documentation for consistency.
• Prototype early using AI-powered tools and methods (Figma, Claude, Devin).
• Collaborate with engineering through implementation to meet a high-quality bar.
• Share learnings and create reusable AI workflows to move ideas faster.
• Deliver exceptional visual design that is clear, intuitive, and polished.
• Show how AI changes design decisions and keeps users in control.
• Demonstrate ownership of large design pieces and influence product direction.
