Job summary

Wayfinder in the United States is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the next iteration of our web platform. You will own end-to-end design from discovery to handoff, collaborating with educators and engineers to deliver simple, compelling experiences.

The role emphasizes research, accessibility, and AI-enabled design. You’ll lead interviews, usability studies, build prototypes, and contribute to a shared design system while aligning with our mission to support learners in underserved

Qualifications

5+ years of UI/UX design with a portfolio showing process and outcomes.
Experience leading design research (interviews, usability studies) and turning findings into decisions.
Excellent communication, ability to present to stakeholders and write clearly.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design of features from discovery to handoff.
Lead research: interviews, usability studies, educator/student conversations, and analytics.
Talk to people to understand needs; translate insights into design decisions.
Communicate learnings via summaries, presentations, and prototypes to guide decisions.
Translate concepts into sketches, flows, prototypes, and build-ready specs.
Create intuitive, accessible interfaces aligned with brand and design system.
Design AI-enabled features to aid educators and learners; speed up design processes.
Collaborate with educators, designers, and engineers from discovery to delivery.
Turn designs into build-ready tickets and contribute to the component library.
