Job summary

Frontline Education seeks a Principal Product Designer to shape long-term experience strategy across our product portfolio. You will lead high‑impact, cross‑functional design initiatives, working with Product, Engineering, and Research to deliver cohesive, accessible experiences for educators and administrators.

You will mentor other designers, drive discovery through customer insights, and define how AI-enabled experiences balance transparency and human judgment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing digital products and leading large‑scale design initiatives.
• Portfolio demonstrating leadership of complex product experiences with measurable impact.
• Deep experience in SaaS/enterprise/platform products.
• Ability to define experience vision and translate into usable workflows.
• Strong interaction, visual, IA, prototyping, and systems design capabilities.
• Experience mentoring designers and elevating design quality.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term experience vision and design strategy across product portfolio.
• Lead complex design initiatives from discovery to delivery and continuous improvement.
• Partner with customers/research to understand educators' workflows and unmet needs.
• Influence priorities through customer insight, systems thinking, and design direction.
• Design end-to-end experiences and simplify complex workflows across platforms.
• Advance design systems and accessibility standards across products.
