Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Design to lead AI-enabled design across Pharmacy Management, Clinical Service and Inventory Optimization products. You will drive human-centered design, AI innovation, and scalable processes from discovery to launch.

Reporting to the VP of Product, you will mentor designers, define best practices, and align design with business outcomes while accelerating delivery using AI workflows.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of progressive experience in product design.
• 1+ year of management experience leading product design teams.
• End-to-end ownership of complex product portfolios from discovery to launch.
• Experience leading high-performing design teams and performance management.
• Experience establishing design operating mechanisms and design review practices.
• Expert level proficiency in Figma including AI-enabled prototyping, design systems architecture and governance.
• Deep expertise in AI-driven design concepts including human-AI interaction patterns, design system management, product ideation, rapid prototyping, prompt engineering, content generation and UX writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of product designers to launch AI-enabled experiences across platforms from discovery to launch.
• Champion AI-led design methodologies, tools, prototyping, and workflow automation.
• Define and track UX metrics like adoption, usability, and satisfaction for portfolio health.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and customer success to inform strategy with insights.
• Mentor junior designers to grow design craft and AI proficiency.
• Own long-term vision for AI-assisted design systems and governance across portfolios.
• Drive alignment across engineering, product, and data to accelerate speed to market.
