Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering; M.S. preferred.
• 5+ years of NPD in fluidic systems; railcar/valve experience preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments; AAR involvement preferred.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD (PTC Creo) and FEA/CFD.
• Strong communication and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NPD for valves and fittings for rail tank cars; design and test.
• Ensure design control and stage-gate compliance; document activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams.
• Manage multiple complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
