Job summary

Torc Robotics in the United States is seeking a Senior Product Cybersecurity Architect to embed cybersecurity into the foundation of our autonomous driving systems. You’ll collaborate with Compute Platform and Autonomy teams to build a security‑driven product lifecycle from conception to deployment.

The role requires 5+ years in safety‑critical cyber‑physical systems, strong knowledge of embedded OS, Linux, QNX and AUTOSAR, and expertise in threat modeling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on engineering with safety-critical cyber-physical systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field with ~6+ years experience.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity for embedded, automotive, and autonomous systems.
• Experience with embedded OS (Linux, QNX, AUTOSAR) and embedded networking.
• Proficiency in threat modeling and security documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define and evaluate cybersecurity controls across embedded OS, encryption, access controls, network security, middleware, and secure coding practices.
• Hands-on work with cybersecurity embedded OS, networking, and cryptographic controls.
• Collaborate with product teams to embed security in the design and development lifecycle.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and adapt security strategies accordingly.
• Liaise with external security vendors and partners for integration of third-party solutions.
• Prepare and present evidence for cybersecurity readiness in product launches.
