Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking an experienced Product Counsel to join our legal team. You will support Product, Engineering, and Marketing with strategic legal guidance on privacy, IP, accessibility, and emerging technologies, reporting to the General Counsel.

You will collaborate with internal teams in a fast-paced start-up environment, help shape policies, and advise on regulatory developments affecting autonomy and AI while contributing to a small, high-growth legal team.

Qualifications

• Experience advising product, engineering, and marketing teams on regulatory requirements and risk mitigation.
• Counseling on domestic and international laws, regulations, and best practices for ongoing compliance.
• Ability to lead large, complex projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
• 8+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience in technology companies.
• J.D. degree and active state bar membership.

Responsibilities

• Advise Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams on legal and regulatory issues related to Autonomy and AI.
• Lead cross-functional projects to embed legal requirements into product development workflows.
• Review product integrations and contracts to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Translate legal guidance into actionable, timely advice for engineering and product teams.
• Support IP strategy, patenting, and M&A activities as needed.
