Qualifications

Experience advising internal teams through the product development lifecycle.
Counsel on domestic and international laws and compliance.
8+ years in tech law roles (firm or in-house).
Active membership in one state bar.

Responsibilities

Be a trusted advisor to Product, Engineering, Design, and Business Teams on autonomy and AI issues.
Lead cross-functional projects on compliance, safety, and IP.
Review product integrations for data protection and IP compliance.
Translate legal advice into actionable guidance for product and engineering teams.
Manage patenting program and advise on IP strategy.
Develop policies and guides to address risk while enabling innovation.
Review customer contracts and marketing materials for compliance.
Collaborate with regulators and industry groups on AI-related regulation.
Assist with M&A transactions.
