Job summary

Electrolux Group North America is seeking a Senior Product Care Engineer/Specialist to own the mechanical and electromechanical design, validation, and continuous improvement for plastic tub dishwashers. You will drive cost-out initiatives, ensure global design standards, and collaborate across regional and global teams.

The role requires 3–7 years in product development, expertise in injection-molded plastics, and strong DFMEA/DVP&R knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related engineering field.
• 3–7 years of experience in product development, preferably in electromechanical systems or consumer appliances.
• Experience with injection-molded plastic part design, electromechanical integration, and component-level validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, redesign, and validation of mechanical and electromechanical components for the plastic tub dishwasher platform.
• Develop new components aligned with global design standards and shared modules.
• Create engineering documentation including CAD models, drawings, specifications, DFMEA, and DVP&R.
• Drive cost-out initiatives through VA/VE activities and design optimization.
• Coordinate with Global R&D to share learnings and align on best practices.
