Job summary

Electrolux Consumer Products, Inc. in North America is seeking a Senior Product Care Engineer/Specialist to design, develop, validate, and improve mechanical and electromechanical components for the plastic tub dishwasher platform.

You will drive cost-out initiatives, work with Global R&D across EU, LATAM, and APAC, and ensure adherence to global design standards, DFMEA, and DVP&R while delivering robust, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electromechanical engineering.
• 3–7 years in product development for electromechanical systems or consumer appliances.
• Experience with injection-molded plastic parts design and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, redesign, and validation of mechanical and electromechanical components for the plastic tub dishwasher platform.
• Create engineering documentation including CAD models and DFMEA/DVP&R.
• Drive cost-out initiatives and root-cause analysis for quality issues.
• Coordinate with Global R&D and suppliers for global standards and learnings.
• Support cross-regional engineering alignment and platform reapplication in NA.
