Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Jersey City seeks a Senior Product Associate for Global Payments API Product. You will drive product development by translating user research into epics and stories, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape the roadmap through metrics and market insights.

You will work on API governance, OpenAPI, and developer self-serve enablement, leveraging AI tools for presenting ideas, and contribute to payments product offerings such as RTP, ACH, wires, and ISO 20022.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication for mixed audiences.
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.

Responsibilities

Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
Supports API governance activities including consistency of standards, naming conventions, and backward-compatibility considerations
Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect customer and market needs through user research and discovery
Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential features
Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics across the product development life cycle
