Job summary

LocalStack is seeking a senior product analytics professional to shape our analytics strategy as we scale. You’ll connect data across the Emulator, CLI, VS Code extension, web app and docs to understand how behavior drives conversion, expansion and churn.

You'll collaborate with GTM, Finance, Marketing, Product and Engineering to turn usage data into actionable insights, define what to build vs buy, and establish robust analytics foundations that accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data analytics role with a focus on product analytics
• Experience modelling a unified data system and architecture thinking
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with Posthog, GA4, Segment, RudderStack, Heap, Amplitude, Contentsquare, or equivalents
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to prototype analyses and data models

Responsibilities

• Build and evangelise product analytics foundations delivering insights for GTM, Finance, Marketing, Product and Engineering
• Connect the user journey across Emulator, CLI, VS Code extension, console, docs site and website for a 360° customer view
• Translate complex datasets into clear insights with strategic recommendations
• Understand data flows at LocalStack and work with teams to enrich data for analytics vision
• Develop insights that demonstrate ROI for customers in collaboration with customers and teams
