Job summary

Route is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to partner with the Product team, shaping strategy and evaluating opportunities using product data, customer behavior, and business context. You will own analyses from problem definition through recommendations and work across Product, Engineering, Data Engineering, Finance, and Revenue Operations to connect product performance to business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, business or operations analytics, or data analytics supporting a product or growth organization.
• Strong product and business judgment, with the ability to explain what happened, why, and what should happen next.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets.
• Experience with dbt, data modeling, metric design and modern analytics engineering practices.
• Strong foundation in statistics and experimentation including A/B testing and sample sizing.
• Experience defining KPIs and building measurement frameworks for products or initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers to identify opportunities and influence strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Translate complex questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
• Analyze customer and merchant behavior, funnels, retention, conversion and monetization for optimization.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests with clear hypotheses, metrics, and interpretation.
• Develop scalable analytical data models using SQL and dbt with reliable metrics and data quality.
• Build dashboards and self-service analytics for visibility into product and business performance.
