Job summary

Bestow is seeking a Senior Product Actuary, Life & Annuity, to translate complex actuarial math into precise system logic for illustrations and policy administration. You’ll work across teams to prototype using AI tools, ensure legacy blocks migrate correctly, and validate outcomes against product intent.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of life insurance industry experience; annuity experience is a strong plus.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience building pricing models or implementing illustration and policy administration systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to subject-matter expert on actuarial and calculation logic behind illustrations and policy administration.
• Translate product specifications into implementable system logic for illustration and policy administration systems.
• Use AI tools to prototype, code, and test calculation logic.
• Support policy migrations, ensuring original calculation logic carries through accurately.
• Validate system behavior against product intent and resolve discrepancies.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and provide clear documentation of methodologies.
