Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Procurement (Remote) to plan and execute procurement for raw materials, goods, and services. The role analyzes data to support sourcing decisions, sets price objectives, and ensures timely acquisition aligned with quality, cost, and schedule goals.

The candidate will evaluate suppliers, manage bids, issue awards, and oversee POs, while collaborating with program management, engineering, operations, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with 4+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 2+ years preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement activities for raw materials, goods, and services.
• Compile and analyze pricing, spend, and supplier performance data to support sourcing strategies.
• Solicit supplier quotations, review bids, and make source selection recommendations.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, RFPs, and bid packages as required.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders from award through completion with timely delivery.
• Resolve supplier issues and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Occasional travel up to 10% and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
