Job summary

L3Harris in Redmond, WA is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage end‑to‑end procurement for defense and aerospace programs. You will handle sourcing, supplier negotiation, and PO administration to support program goals and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and finance teams, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal supplier performance while traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of procurement experience; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and defense/aerospace procurement is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and bid review.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement for materials, components, and services to meet program requirements.
• Solicit, review, and analyze supplier quotations, proposals, and bids.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery commitments per policy.
• Issue and manage purchase orders through completion and closeout.
• Assess supplier capability, performance, and risk across multiple dimensions.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, program management, and finance.
• Resolve supplier issues related to shortages, returns, or changes.
• Maintain procurement records for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor market conditions and advise on sourcing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and anti-corruption standards.
• Mentor and guide less experienced staff; travel up to 20%.
