Job summary

Northern Trust in Tempe, AZ is seeking a senior procurement professional to develop enterprise-wide procurement practices, lead RFx processes, and negotiate contracts including NDAs and Master Agreements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage supplier performance using ERP systems.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Business or Finance, 6+ years in sourcing, and strong negotiation skills; familiarity with Coupa/Workday/PeopleSoft is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Finance is preferred.
• MBA or other advanced degree and a professional Procurement/ Supply Chain Management designation are a strong plus.
• Six or more years’ experience in Sourcing or Procurement.
• Experience with Labor Contracts and managed services contracts is desired.
• Advanced negotiation skills.
• Experience with sourcing and procurement applications such as Coupa, Workday, PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Develops procurement practices enterprise-wide, including category sourcing and strategies.
• Leads RFx processes including project management, negotiations and award.
• Responsible for contract review and drafting (NDAs, Master Agreements, Statements of Work).
• Maintain procurement processes and procedures; support supplier performance reviews.
• Ensure regulatory/compliance requirements are met; manage supplier relationships.
