Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a procurement professional to lead sourcing strategy and analytics across IT/software and banking platforms. The role includes RFx management, contract reviews, and negotiations to optimize supplier performance and compliance.

You will work with business partners to implement strategic solutions, manage regulatory requirements, and maintain systems like Coupa and Contract Management. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, SCM or Finance with 6+ years in Sourcing or Procurement.
MBA or advanced degree and professional procurement/supply chain designation is a strong plus.
Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills; proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

Develop sourcing strategy and conduct category analytics in IT/software and banking platforms.
Lead RFx processes, project management, negotiations and awards.
Review technology contracts and lead price negotiations and administration.
Ensure compliance with procurement processes.
Manage non-traditional 3rd party supplier relationships through TPMO due diligence.
Support supplier activity reporting and internal BU supplier reviews.
Manage regulatory/compliance requirements (OFAC, FCPA, Spend Analysis).
Report procurement performance metrics.
Build relationships with partners; train on policy guidelines.
Utilize Coupa and maintain Contract Management System.
Collaborate with business to implement strategy and solutions.
Serve as technical expert in technology software and banking platforms.
