Job summary

PurposeBuilt Brands in Gurnee, IL is seeking a Sr. Manager of Procurement Operations to lead Direct Materials and Contract Manufacturing vendor performance, build cross-functional collaboration, and drive supplier strategies.

You will manage a team focused on OTIF, CFR, and quality targets, while delivering value through process improvements and sustainability. The role requires 7+ years in supply chain with proven leadership, ERP proficiency, and strong negotiation skills in a fast-paced CP(G)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 7+ years of experience in or with Supply Chain or related areas with experience managing teams
• Proven track record leading teams (3+ people) with cross-functional collaboration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Process improvement proficiency (lean, root cause analysis)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication at senior levels
• Experience with ERP systems and budgeting/financial processes

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement operations for Direct Materials and Contract Manufacturing vendors.
• Own and drive the Vendor Performance Management Program across spend categories.
• Build and optimize vendor management processes through continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, and other internal stakeholders to meet OTIF, CFR, and Quality targets.
• Identify and implement sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations.
• Support new supplier identification, selection, and qualification.
• Drive process improvements and sustainability initiatives across procurement.
