A leading global manufacturing organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Procurement Manager – Operations to support in leading its North America Procurement team. This pivotal role will lead regional procurement operations across multiple facilities, including manufacturing plants, R&D centers, and corporate offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving procurement performance, managing indirect spend, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring alignment with global procurement strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement team to deliver best-in-class service across operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and site requirements.
- Oversee indirect procurement and coordinate shared services resources to support procurement leads across various locations.
- Drive professional development within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Report on performance and value delivery (TPV), identifying and implementing opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation.
- Lead the development and execution of category management strategies and support sourcing activities across all regional sites.
- Act as the main procurement contact for senior business stakeholders, building strong internal and external partnerships.
- Manage contract lifecycle processes, supplier onboarding, and performance monitoring using industry best practices.
- Utilize ERP and procurement platforms to analyze spend, manage pricing, and improve data visibility.
- Monitor market trends and supply risks to inform proactive sourcing strategies and ensure supply continuity.
- Lead procurement efforts for industrial services such as capital projects, engineering, maintenance, and construction support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) preferred.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) completed or in progress.
- 10+ years of procurement/category management experience in industrial, manufacturing, or process-driven sectors.
- 5+ years of team leadership, with a strong track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
Required Skills:
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement at both executive and operational levels.
- Experience with digital sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, GEP) and ERP systems (preferably SAP S4/HANA).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Deep understanding of commercial contracts, category management, and supplier performance management.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in industrial services procurement is a strong advantage.
