Job summary

Saber Power Services, based in Houston, Texas, seeks a Procurement Manager – Preconstruction & Estimating to lead procurement activities across bidding and preconstruction for medium- and high-voltage EPC projects.

You will develop procurement strategies, validate pricing, manage supplier and subcontractor engagements, and align procurement with estimate development, schedules, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, estimating, preconstruction, or project development within electrical/utility EPC industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction means and methods, utility infrastructure, and EPC project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for preconstruction and competitive bidding for medium- and high-voltage EPC projects.
• Develop procurement strategies for major project bids based on scope, schedule, location, and market conditions.
• Review bid documents and supplier proposals to identify pricing, terms, and risk, and maintain procurement databases and lead times.
