Sunrun is seeking a Senior Category Manager for Batteries, Inverters, and Electrification to lead strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations. The role focuses on achieving cost reductions, optimizing supplier performance, and aligning procurement with business goals across residential energy solutions.

You will engage with cross-functional teams, analyze spend data, and drive category strategies while maintaining strong supplier partnerships and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Industrial/Operations Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
• 10+ years of procurement experience with data analytics emphasis are required.

Responsabilités

• Execute strategic sourcing strategies and initiatives to improve supplier quality and total cost.
• Develop selection criteria and drive supplier choices with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage ongoing supplier relationships.
• Develop total cost of ownership models and drive cost reductions across categories.
• Lead category reviews and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve savings goals.
