Job summary

Nextpower is seeking a Senior Category Manager in Battery Storage to lead sourcing, contracting and RFP activities for battery storage components. This strategic procurement role reports to the Executive VP of Global Supply Chain and partners with Engineering, Commercial Operations and Legal to align supplier terms with contracts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record developing and executing category strategies with measurable cost/quality/risk impact.
• Strong understanding of LV/MV power distribution components (switchgear, inverters, transformers, motor drives).
• Excellent negotiation, contracting and communication skills; experience with engineering/product teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to drive cost competitiveness and supply security.
• Lead RFP sourcing, evaluate proposals, ensure compliance with project specs and timelines.
• Negotiate project-specific terms and contract for equipment and services; support risk assessments and supplier performance reviews.
